Urban Decay eyeshadows are unmatched in my opinion for quality, texture, colour payoff and longevity. (I own 5 UD palettes...)
While Pulp Fiction may not be my favourite Tarantino film (Kill Bill Vol 1 & 2), it is still one that I can quote quite well and will watch time and time again. Urban Decay + Tarantino = GOOD TIMES.
THE PALETTE:
The colours in this palette are a mix of warm and cool tones that will compliment any eye shape/colour. I might be biased as to say it looks particularly nice with blue eyes though. The top two shades are a matte texture while the bottom three are satin, with Anger having just a touch of shimmer.
| Top to bottom: Anger, Furious, Vengeance, Tyranny, Righteous. |
THE LOOK:
I was able to create this soft cut-crease look using all the colours in the palette. I used Righteous all over the lid, Vengeance on the lower lashline, a mix of Tyranny and Vengeance in the crease, Anger on my brow-bone and inner corner and Furious to set my liquid eyeliner. The mascara I used was the Lorac Pro mascara and for eyeliner I used a little travel sized Kat Von D Tattoo Liner in Trooper.
This little baby is my new favourite. The nib is actually a brush with this one, not a felt tip like so many others I have used and failed to love, which means no fraying at the end. It's really black, easy to use and definitely will be repurchased by me when I run out.
Go out and get this palette, it's still on sale!
Hope you enjoyed my first beauty post!
